It was at the entrance ceremony of Sakakino Gakuen when Ito Makoto first met Katsura Kotonoha. For Makoto, Kotonoha is merely a student in the next class, a student who uses the same train line, who boards the same train car and reads books on the train. He is interested in her, but she is only a girl whom he looks at from a distance.
